A first website for a Barrie healthcare provider
A custom WordPress build for a rehabilitation provider that had no website, followed by the printed materials its team uses in the field.
Neural Rehabilitation Group is a Barrie-based provider supporting people living with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, serious orthopaedic injuries and amputations, most of whom were hurt in motor vehicle collisions or workplace accidents. The team delivers rehab therapy, nursing, personal support work, caregiving and housekeeping to clients across Ontario, including communities well outside the major centres.
The challenge: starting without a website
Neural Rehabilitation Group had no website when we started. Their work comes through referral, and people making those referrals generally look a provider up first, so there was nothing for them to find. The site needed to explain who the organization was, cover five separate service lines clearly enough that someone could tell which one applied to their client, and show which parts of Ontario the team covers.
What we built: a clear structure for a professional audience
We designed and built a custom WordPress theme from the ground up, with each of the five service lines given its own page so referrers can go straight to what they need rather than reading through a single combined services page. A service area map shows the Ontario coverage, including the more remote regions the team reaches. The site also covers the organization's wider relationships, linking through to sister company Help at Home Healthcare and to the advocacy and volunteer work the team supports. Content is managed by the client's own team through WordPress, so news, service updates and new pages go up without developer involvement. Our Barrie team handled design, development, and launch in-house, which kept the review process short and the decisions direct.
Print and display
Much of the team's work happens in person, at conferences and in meetings with referral partners. With the site established, we designed the materials they use for that: business cards, a services brochure, and trade show signage including a display backdrop and printed tablecloth. Everything was built from the same visual direction as the website and supplied as production-ready artwork with correct colour profiles, bleeds and trims.
Work like this can be extended further with SEO services, landing pages, analytics, and paid search support, or with ongoing graphic and print design as new materials are needed.
